Hi shelby, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
For me, jewelry always held some sort of memory to it. when you wear it all the time, it gets worn out and even break at the clasp. most of the time when this would happen, you end up losing the piece which can be heart breaking. my dad passed in 2017 and i wear a necklace with his ashes in it, never take it off, not in the shower or swimming. So, why not make it permanent so i never have to worry about it breaking off? once i heard of permanent jewelry, i had to learn for myself so i can make memories permanent for other people too
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Running a small business is never a completely smooth ride—there are always challenges along the way that can feel like roadblocks. Whether it’s navigating marketing, managing inventory, or figuring out the best way to book clients, there have definitely been moments that required problem-solving and adaptability. But despite the hurdles, building Eternal Charm has been an exciting and rewarding journey. Every challenge has been a learning experience, and seeing the business grow while connecting with amazing customers makes it all worth it. At the end of the day, the process has been just as fun as the outcome!

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My permanent necklace has my dad’s ashes as reminder of the memories we made. One of my favorite would be catfishing, enjoying the stillness of the night. The adventures werent often but it’s a memory I’ll always hold onto.
