Hi Friends!
My name is Rodney Gray Jr and I am a long time chef here in the Charleston area.. after spending many years in several different restaurants i decided to start my own private event and catering business.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It’s been a journey! Part of having goals is going through different trials and different seasons of your life. I am no different than anyone else. From finding balance, customers and inspiration it’s truly has been a journey that has been both challenging and rewarding
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a chef. So on a very basic level I cook things! I specialize in events, catering and public speaking engagements.. I am most known for creative spins in long time classics and pushing the envelope on different dishes. From Banana Pudding cake to Wild Game Bolognese I love to creative new and exciting dishes for people to try. I am most proud of being able to walk my own path and explore both the culinary world and my own talents as well. The number one thing that sets me apart from others is my creativity I’ve been known to taking the difficult path when an easy solution is available..
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Something Surprising about my brand is that I am an avid baker and very flexible in what and where I can cook.
