Hi Matthew, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
FaithForge Gaming started from a simple desire, to create a Christ-centered gaming community where people could feel welcomed, encouraged, and genuinely connected. What began as a small idea quickly grew into something much bigger than we ever imagined. We saw how many people in gaming spaces were searching for community, purpose, friendship, and positivity, and we wanted to build a place where faith and gaming could exist together without compromise.
In the beginning, FaithForge was just a vision fueled by passion, long nights, prayer, creativity, and a willingness to build something different. We started creating content, building servers, designing our website, organizing events, and slowly gathering people who shared the same heart for Christ-centered community. Over time, streamers, creators, gamers, families, and friends from all over began joining together through Discord, livestreams, game nights, prayer, encouragement, and fellowship.
What makes FaithForge special is that it has never just been about gaming. It has become a ministry. We have watched people find friendships during hard seasons of life, reconnect with their faith, ask for prayer, support one another, and encourage each other daily. We’ve seen creators step into confidence, communities unite, and conversations about Jesus happen naturally through games and livestreams. Some people came looking for a gaming server and ended up finding hope, encouragement, and people who truly cared about them.
As the community has grown, so has the vision. FaithForge Gaming now includes streamers, creators, events, merch collaborations, custom servers, devotionals, and large community projects designed to bring people together while keeping Christ at the center of everything we do. Every event we host is built around encouragement, fellowship, and reaching people where they are.
FaithForge Gaming has also grown into an official LLC and expanding Christian media brand focused on building a positive online presence through gaming, content creation, merchandise, and community outreach. Through our Creator Partnership Program, we collaborate with Christian streamers and creators who share the same heart for encouraging others, creating uplifting content, and reflecting Christ online. Together, we work to grow not only our community, but also a shared vision of using gaming and social media as tools for connection, encouragement, and ministry. Our online merch store helps support both FaithForge and our partnered creators through collaborative collections that allow streamers to grow alongside the community while helping spread the mission even further. Across livestreams, videos, short-form content, events, devotionals, Discord, and social media, FaithForge continues to expand as a faith-driven network built on creativity, fellowship, and using every platform possible to reach people with positivity and the love of Christ.
One of the biggest milestones in this journey is our upcoming FaithForge Gaming Christian Raid Train anniversary event. This event represents everything FaithForge stands for, creators and communities coming together to support one another, encourage positivity online, and reach more people for Christ through gaming. The Raid Train is more than just streaming. It is a celebration of community, collaboration, ministry, and the incredible journey God has taken us on over the past year.
Looking back, it is amazing to see how far FaithForge has come from a small vision into a growing ministry-driven community that continues to impact lives every day. We know this is only the beginning, and we are excited to continue building a place where faith, creativity, gaming, and genuine community can thrive together.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Along the way, FaithForge Gaming has faced many obstacles and growing pains that tested both our vision and perseverance. Building a Christ-centered community in the online gaming world has not always been easy. From long nights balancing real life, family, work, and ministry, to learning web development, server management, content creation, branding, moderation, and event organization completely from the ground up, every step required faith and persistence. We have faced financial challenges, technical issues, platform limitations, burnout, discouragement, criticism, and the difficulty of trying to build something meaningful in spaces that are often filled with negativity and division. There were moments when growth felt slow, when projects failed, when streams had little reach, and when the amount of work behind the scenes felt overwhelming. Yet through every obstacle, God continued opening doors, bringing the right people into the community, and reminding us why FaithForge exists in the first place. Those struggles helped shape the community into something stronger, more genuine, and more focused on serving others rather than simply chasing numbers or success.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Professionally, I specialize in building community-driven brands and experiences that combine creativity, technology, content creation, and ministry. I am the founder of FaithForge Gaming LLC, a Christ-centered gaming and media community focused on creating positive online spaces through livestreaming, gaming servers, creator partnerships, events, social media, and merchandise. Much of my work has been self-taught, including web design, branding, server management, community leadership, content strategy, livestream production, and event coordination. I have worked to create not just a gaming community, but an online ministry and support system where people can feel welcomed, encouraged, and connected.
One of the things I am most proud of is building FaithForge Gaming from the ground up into a growing multi-platform community with streamers, creators, custom gaming experiences, and collaborative events like our Christian Raid Train. We have partnered with creators who share the same vision of using online platforms to encourage others and reflect Christ through content and community. Through our merch collaborations, livestreams, Discord community, social platforms, devotionals, and outreach-focused events, we continue working to create meaningful impact far beyond gaming itself.
What sets me apart is my willingness to learn, adapt, and build through challenges. I have taken on everything from technical development and creative branding to leadership and community management while balancing ministry, business growth, and personal responsibilities. Rather than focusing only on numbers or popularity, I prioritize authenticity, long-term vision, and building something that genuinely helps people. My goal has always been to create spaces where creativity, faith, encouragement, and community can thrive together in a meaningful and lasting way.
What makes you happy?
What makes me happiest is building things that genuinely impact people’s lives in a positive way. Whether it’s through FaithForge Gaming, content creation, community events, helping creators grow, or simply encouraging someone going through a difficult season, I love creating spaces where people feel welcomed, supported, and inspired. Seeing friendships form, watching people gain confidence, hearing that someone felt less alone because of our community, or seeing conversations about faith naturally happen through gaming and online content is incredibly meaningful to me.
I also find happiness in creativity and building something from the ground up. I enjoy learning new skills, designing websites, creating events, developing ideas, solving problems, and turning visions into reality. A lot of what I do combines creativity, leadership, technology, and ministry, which makes the work deeply fulfilling. Beyond business and projects, my faith, family, and close relationships are what truly keep me grounded and motivated. Knowing that the things I create can encourage others, bring people together, and potentially point someone closer to Christ gives my work and life a much deeper purpose.
