Rising Stars: Meet John Redgrave of South Carolina

Today we’d like to introduce you to John Redgrave.

Hi John, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We are a 3 location barbershop that got its start in the village of west Greenville in the upstate of South Carolina. Our first shop began in a 300 sq foot space and free to a two story building plus two location in the middle of Covid.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Expanding in the middle of Covid has been the hardest uphill battle. We have had many highs and lows but in the end I am super grateful to have walk this almost 10 year journey. Learning how to run a business with no background definitely has been a challenge. But I’m thankful for the 20+ barbers who have stuck with me through it all. We are excited to step into a new chapter in the near future.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
We specialize in men’s precision hair cutting. Bring fashion and modern style together through styling that is tailored to the individual.

What matters most to you? Why?
The feeling of confidence a single haircut can make an individual feel. It’s a great feeling knowing we can make someone feel confident when we give them style direction.
