Determined to create a space where every member feels valued, seen, and heard, founders Nina Hebert, Tiffany Rachells, and Shirelle Davis envisioned an organization that fosters lifelong connections and meaningful relationships.
Their journey began with an exploration of another organization whose mission appeared to align with Tiffany and Nina’s aspirations. However, they soon discovered that the experience did not reflect the values they held dear. Rather than compromising on their vision, they embraced a simple but powerful truth: when what you seek does not exist, you create it yourself.
With that determination, Gamma Lambda Epsilon was established—a space where women uplift one another, cultivate genuine bonds, and find belonging beyond membership alone. Rooted in love and guided by purpose, the sorority stands as a testament to the strength of women who dare to build the community they deserve.

Every meaningful journey comes with its challenges, and the path to building Gamma Lambda Epsilon has been no exception. While our foundation is rooted in love, sisterhood, and unwavering support, we’ve faced hurdles that tested our resilience and vision.
One of our earliest challenges was navigating the complexities of establishing a new organization. From structuring bylaws to securing trademarks and protecting our brand, we had to be meticulous in creating a strong, sustainable foundation. We wanted to ensure that Gamma Lambda Epsilon was built with integrity and longevity, and that required overcoming legal and organizational obstacles.
Additionally, fostering a community that truly embodies sisterhood took intentional effort. We’ve had to navigate misunderstandings, uphold accountability, and reinforce the values that make GLE special.
