Have you ever been told you don’t have a future? That your body was broken and you would not live a full life? That is the beginning of my story — but it is certainly not the end.
I love a challenge, and figuring out how to optimize my health has been my life’s pursuit. It took decades of research, education, and practical integration to create Renewal Therapeutics — a place of healing, recovery, and hope. It is where I restored my own body and discovered how to accelerate its ability to heal and repair itself.
The Problem We Solve
From neuropathy to incontinence, Renewal Therapeutics offers solutions to some of the most complex problems women face. Too often, women are dismissed. Following the birth of my first son, I struggled to walk, lift, bend, or even sleep. At my six-week follow-up, I was told that feeling this way was normal after having a baby and that it would eventually get better. It didn’t. That experience became the foundation for everything we do.
Who We Serve
New Moms: We offer support as new mothers navigate the changes in their bodies, providing both physical care and encouragement through the parenting journey. As a board-certified pediatric specialist, I also help with infant oral motor skills — including head control and feeding behaviors. Our Renewal Strong Foundations™ program was designed to care for moms while optimizing infant motor development and feeding.
Women in Menopause: I am on the other side of menopause, and I know firsthand how challenging this season can be — especially when you are simultaneously caring for aging parents, raising children, and managing a career. Our Renewal Ascend™ program thoughtfully guides women through this transition with the support and expertise they deserve.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Just one month after opening the doors of Renewal Therapeutics, I received a diagnosis that stopped me in my tracks — a tumor in my pelvis, located at my sacrum. In an instant, I found myself wondering how I would treat patients from a wheelchair, and whether I would need a colostomy bag. It was one of the scariest seasons of my life.
I am grateful to share that the tumor was benign and stable. Every day, I continue to gain ground in my own health and healing.
But that moment clarified everything. Having spent my entire life fighting for my own health and function, offering hope to others facing similar challenges feels less like a career choice and more like a calling. I understand — deeply and personally — what it means to face pain, limited mobility, leakage, and inflammation, and to wonder if things will ever get better.
My dream is simple: to help others overcome their health challenges so they can live the full life they deserve.
