Today we’d like to introduce you to Charles Cascio.
Hi Charles, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Where I am today is a product of accidents, childhood compulsions, and a deep urge to seek the truth. Music played a big part of my childhood, and I always saw music as an expression of my heart. Music taught me that life is a story, and sometimes we don’t know who we are in this story.. which character we’re playing. My own personal struggle for identity lead to a constant battle/pendulum swing from left (brain) to right (brain) but I find peace somewhere in the middle. As a young adult I was pressured into a stable career, so art and music left my life for a decade or so. I pursued a career in business operations, but never lost my love and heart for people. I always saw myself as a servant, and would often get frustrated that people took advantage of me. But as a friend once told me- I would rather put it all on the line and get hurt, then live a reserved life, as a shell of myself.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not in the least. Most of the road was filled with frustration, low ‘lows’ and high ‘highs.’ I have struggled mostly in carving my own path in this life, which has proven to be a bit unconventional.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
The one thing that sets me apart is a genuine love and care for people. I see myself as a doctor, or a nurse for souls. Since I create media assets for businesses and leaders- I feel this is the most important element. We use a podcast style interview format, which is the perfect forum for me to get to the heart of what makes people tick. I am also able to use this format to bring out the truth: which is what I would also call ‘the best of you.’ People connect with heart. Story. Passion. So we do not focus on metrics/likes/subscribers/bank balances. We focus on the heart and how I can come alongside the client and encourage them in that moment.
So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
I am looking to build out a team, but more than that- I am looking to build a community of trusted professionals that can become a mini Referall network. Other than that I can use some good and honest feedback, as well as some nudges in the right direction regarding: Future guests/clients, and production.
