Hi Chappel, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Not long after graduating from nurse practitioner school I started to experience adult acne thyrotomy of my confidence severely. During my journey to not only understand but he will my skin, I discovered and fell in love with medical aesthetics. I realized during my own experience with Botox injections that I, too, could be an injector and it quickly became a passion. I still to this day have a list on my phone from 2020 of all the things that I would need to be able to inject. What was not included on the list was sleepless nights, performance anxiety like no other, and of course a lot of tears. However, I would and continue to do it day after day after day because it is absolutely a passion and I enjoy doing it so very much. I remember thinking to myself when I started injecting at my first job, ‘ they really would not have to pay me and I would still come do this just because I love it so much.’ Now I own a med spa in Florence South Carolina that offers so much more than just cosmetic injections. I have learned more about facial aging and overall wellness therefore my treatment plans are vastly different. Treatment plans are now generated based off what is truly causing the facial aging that we are seeing. There are often 4-5 different elements that take place but not all patients show signs of aging and all areas. My practice now offers neurotoxins, dermal fillers, collagen bio stimulators, microneedling with exosomes and/or PRP, hair restoration, short-pulsed radiofrequency microneedling, radiofrequency fat ablation, derma PRP volumizer, and medical/prescription strength skin care consults.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I care just as much if not more about a patient’s result than they do. I strive for perfection and will work at it and train until I get it.
