Today we’d like to introduce you to Tish Jordan.
Hi Tish, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I went to esthetics school in my late 20’s when I already had two children. After graduating and spending 2 years working for someone else, I took the risk and opened up my lash studio outside of Greenville. I’m now 13 years into this career and I have been blessed to stay consistently busy, with some clients even staying with me since the very beginning! I
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has not been smooth. I had to battle a vague non-compete when I set out on my own. That was something I never expected, but I fought for myself and won. I have also had people want to join my business and try to take advantage of me. I have had to fight for my success.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a licensed esthetician, but I specialize in lash extensions. I also offer brow services and spray tans. I was one of the first lash artists in the Greenville area in 2014. I’m very proud of my client retention and the relationships I have built with many clients through the past 13 years.
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
As a child, I loved spending time with my grandma in Tennessee. She always allowed me to be creative and expressive.
