Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiago Bezerra.
Tiago, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’ve been an entrepreneur since the early 2000s, when I started my first business in Brazil. With a background in graphic design, I successfully ran my own design studio for seven years. After moving to the United States, I transitioned into the construction industry. Today, I own and operate a fleet of dumpsters as part of my demolition business, serving clients such as airports, schools, and other specialized projects. I’ve managed my own businesses throughout the years and bring a strong sense of dedication, adaptability, and experience to every venture.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
“Well, my biggest challenge has always been myself—dealing with my own struggles like ADHD and other things. But those challenges are also what made me an entrepreneur. I never really fit into traditional work environments like offices or factories. That kind of setup just isn’t for me.”
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m extremely proud to lead a dedicated team that builds homes while preserving the rich historic charm of Charleston, South Carolina. Working in construction and historic preservation is more than just a job—it’s a commitment to honoring the unique character of this beautiful city. I believe in nurturing a deep passion for both our craft and our clients. Embracing our work with genuine enthusiasm and dedication inspires us all to deliver our absolute best every day.”
How do you think about happiness?
At the end of the day, what truly makes me happy is knowing I’ve done my job well—helping my family and contributing to my community so that everyone benefits.
