Meet Roberto G Paschoal Neto of Moncks Corner

Today we’d like to introduce you to Roberto G Paschoal Neto

Hi Roberto G PASCHOAL, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Hello Roberto G PASCHOAL, we are very excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Roberto, I’m 34 years old and I’m married to an extraordinary woman, Graziele. Together, we have the privilege of raising our two amazing daughters, Emily, 14, and Liz, just 2. Our journey began in São Paulo, Brazil, but five years ago we decided to take a leap of faith and start anew in South Carolina, USA.

My story in barbering began in 2015, during a time of exhaustion and dissatisfaction with the life I was leading. I was tired of knocking on doors that didn’t open, tired of hearing that I lacked experience. I decided it was time to change that. So, I enrolled in a barber course in Barueri. Life didn’t make it easy: I managed to attend only three classes, as work consumed my time. But instead of giving up, I decided that if it wasn’t going to be the traditional way, I would find my own path. And that’s exactly what I did.

With the basics I learned, I began to delve deeper on my own, watching YouTube videos and practicing with friends. It wasn’t easy, but I had a goal: to be the best I could be. After a workshop with my childhood friend, Ariel Vinícius—a true angel in my journey—he invited me to work in his barbershop. From there, new opportunities arose, and I began building my path, one haircut at a time.

In 2016, my wife and I made the biggest decision of our lives: we moved to the United States in search of a better future. Two years later, I took a classical barbering course with Kabal, another friend who became essential in my journey. Since then, the pursuit of excellence has been relentless. I spent nights watching classes, perfecting techniques, and it was not uncommon for me to cut hair in my backyard, without luxury, but with a lot of determination.

Today, after years of hard work, I can proudly say that I have carved out my space. I have my own business, a long list of loyal clients, and above all, the certainty that it was all worth it. My story is about persistence, courage, and faith. I owe this to God, to my wife, who has always believed in me, to Ariel for being a true brother, and to myself for not giving up when everything seemed impossible.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that success comes to those who have the courage to keep going, even when the road is tough. I doubted I would ever get this far because the only person who can stop you is yourself. And I chose to move forward, believe in myself, and overcome every obstacle.

If I can do it, you can too.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
In the beginning, my mother questioned me; she wanted me to find a registered job. No one believed in me except my wife. For five months, I barely made any money; there were times I thought about giving up, but God had a purpose for my life, and He made it come true. And that’s not all—there’s so much more to come.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I have been a barber for 9 years, specializing in traditional, classic, and modern cuts. My work goes beyond just cutting hair; it’s about creating a style that fits each client’s personality. I believe a good haircut can elevate self-esteem and transform someone’s day. Over the years, I have perfected my techniques and always strive to keep up with the trends in the barbering world. My goal is to provide a unique and personalized experience, making every client feel special and confident.
