Hi Raymond, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
With Faith, Prayer, Love, and being a servant to others, all things are achievable. Since being knee-high to a grasshopper, I have always wanted to work outside. At times I would just sit back and be amazed at all the beauty nature has to offer. Bringing happiness to others has always been one of my First Priorities (no pun intended). Being able to bring smiles to my clients’ faces by simply enhancing their landscape is a blessing in itself. First Priority Landscaping was founded on just those simple principles of making our clients happy. Now, only five years later, we have the same opportunity with First Priority Garden Center.
First Priority is Rooted in faith. Our mission is to be servants to our community by offering a local place for advice and assistance with all your landscape and gardening needs.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Smooth, no but blessed, yes. This journey of becoming a business owner has been filled with obstacles but our faith in God has overcome them all. First Priority Landscaping Solutions was started in the middle of Covid 2020 right after the sudden death of my mother. I was in a dark place, but my wife and God picked me up.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We are able to offer a full array of services. Starting with landscaping, we include consultation, install, design-build, mulch, pine straw, sod, irrigation, drainage, pavers, walls, and water fountains. Additional landscape services include softscape, hardscape, flower bed makeovers and lawn maintenance. Garden Center wise, we offer small landscape installations, container planting, indoor plant repotting, and expertise in annuals, perennials, lawn care, houseplants, trees and shrubs.
As a landscaping company paired with a garden center, we are able to support and grow both companies together as well as offer the best of both worlds to the community and our clientele.

I must recognize the support from my wife and kids. They are amazing and they have my back through it all. This is a new journey for the Kirkland family, but we are excited to be here. We believe that family is key to success. If you can surround yourself with family or friends who truly support you, there is nothing you cannot achieve here on Earth. Family is not only related by blood, but also by faith; those who believe in you and who want you to succeed in all aspects of your life.

- Consultation Tier Two – $150 – Walkthrough or placement of plant material in front and backyard, includes hand sketch, no color, not to scale on site
- Consultation Tier Three – Starting at $300 – Walkthrough and placement of plant material in front and backyard, includes hand sketch with color, drawn to scale
- Consultation Tier Four – Starting at $800 – Walkthrough and placement of plant material in front and backyard, includes computer drawing with 3D rendering as well as a Garden Center visit to look at plant material
- Additional mileage fees starting from 6-15 miles at $45
