Mario Prezzy is originally from Orangeburg, South Carolina. A proud graduate of Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School, he furthered his education at South Carolina State University. With a passion for capturing life’s most meaningful moments, Mario has been dedicated to photography for over two decades. His journey began in February 2005 when he landed his first professional gig, and since then, he has committed himself to creating powerful, memorable images.
Building his business wasn’t always easy. Mario faced numerous challenges along the way, but his perseverance and unwavering faith kept him moving forward. Over time, he developed a team of talented employees, mentoring and guiding them to start their own successful ventures. Seeing others thrive as a result of his support is one of his greatest sources of pride.
His work has taken him to significant moments, including being asked to photograph the funeral of the legendary Angie Stone—rest her soul. Through his lens, he was privileged to capture images of gospel recording artists such as Pastor Shirley Caesar, Calvin Richardson, and Anthony Hamilton, preserving memories of these impactful figures.
Mario wanted his brand to stand out and be more than just a typical photography business. He envisioned a name that would not only reflect his unique style but also allow room for growth into multiple industries in the future. With the help of a close friend, he created “Undying Xpressionz”—a name that symbolizes his desire for everlasting impact and creative expression across various ventures.

A Man of God, Mario’s foundation is built on his faith in the Lord. Growing up playing drums in church, he now uses his talents to serve his church community by capturing meaningful moments through his lens. His faith fuels his work, inspiring him to deliver excellence in every shot.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Absolutely not — my journey has had its share of challenges. When I first started my business in 2005, I faced the typical struggles of building a brand, gaining clients, and establishing myself in a competitive industry. There were times when success felt just out of reach, and obstacles seemed insurmountable. However, my faith, perseverance, and determination kept me going.
Throughout the years, I also faced the challenge of growing a team and mentoring others, which required patience, leadership, and a lot of learning. Mentoring my team and helping them start their own successful businesses has been both a challenge and a blessing.
Despite the setbacks, I’ve learned that each obstacle is an opportunity to grow stronger and more resilient. My faith in God has been my guiding light, helping me push through tough times and remain focused on my purpose — which is to bring joy, inspiration, and even a spiritual connection through my work. Every challenge has shaped me into the person and professional I am today.

I am a professional photographer with over 20 years of experience, specializing in a wide range of areas including corporate headshots, corporate events, real estate photography, funeral photography, studio portraits, and sports photography. I’m known for my ability to create relaxed, natural-looking images because I prioritize building genuine connections with my clients. This approach helps them feel comfortable and confident, which results in stunning, authentic photos.
What sets me apart is my mindset and vision for my brand. I didn’t want to create just a typical photography business; I wanted a name and identity that would stand out and allow room for growth into multiple industries. With the help of a close friend, I founded “Undying Xpressionz”—a name that signifies my desire for everlasting impact and creative expression that extends beyond just photography.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
I believe that faith is the most important quality that has contributed to my success. My unwavering trust in God has guided me through every challenge, inspired me to push forward, and kept me grounded in my purpose. Alongside faith, I would say perseverance is crucial—there have been obstacles along the way, but my determination and resilience have always helped me overcome them.
Additionally, I value genuine connection and authenticity. Building real relationships with my clients and trusting those relationships allows me to create relaxed, natural images that truly reflect who they are. This sincerity and commitment to serving others are what truly set me apart and have been key to my growth and success.
