Hi Latrise, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I have been in the travel industry since 2008 and continue to build a strong and diverse client base. In 2016, I established LH Fun Travel, LLC. My travel planning experience began by booking vacation packages for family and friends, and since then has grown significantly on a referral basis. As my experience and knowledge in the travel industry began to grow, I saw a want and need to help others that would be great at doing the same thing. With continuous training and personal assistance, I have a team of agents who also help to create experiences that clients will remember for a lifetime. We are excited to serve as a preferred travel agency to people all over the country.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
With any business there are challenges and those challenges allow you to better yourself and your business. Of course, COVID has been the true test and although we did take a hit initially, fortunately, we have been able to still assist those who are willing and ready to travel. It definitely requires a lot of training and keeping updated with the ever-changing world, but that’s what we are here for. By having first-hand knowledge of entry protocols and requirements for different countries, we are able to make our clients feel comfortable and safe to travel again as they did before the pandemic.

LH Fun Travel, established in 2016, is the place for you to book that special vacation that you have been wanting. Our agents will help you create an experience that you will remember for a lifetime, and give you the peace of mind of knowing you’re working with an expert who will make sure you have the trip of your dreams. We specialize in the Caribbean mostly but can assist clients with any destination. We have a Disney specialist that can curate Disney-related trips or an agent that works more closely with corporate incentive groups. My personal specialties are destination weddings and group travel. All of the agents at LH Fun Travel work closely with each other. We can assist with any trip or point the client in the right direction with an agent that may be more beneficial.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
I find joy in seeing that my clients are happy with the experience from start to finish. It’s not all about the destination, but ensuring that they are heard and taken care of from the beginning is where it counts most. We are here to make the client’s booking experience easy and seamless. Then of course, hearing about the wonderful time on their vacation and seeing the pictures and videos that are shared, it definitely makes me smile. When the client then refers their family and friends to the agency, that only solidifies how great of an experience they had, and allows us to keep providing that excellent service time and time again.
