Hi Jasmine, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My name is Jasmine Falcon, Owner of Silver Lining Lash. I’m a lash educator and luxury lash artist and I’m so happy to share my story. I started my lash business at age 20 and have been so grateful to have found such a fulfilling career helping women feel beautiful by enhancing their natural beauty. As my love for lashing grew, I struggled to find my perfect lash home. Every salon i rented a room in never matched up to my standards and I wanted my clients to have a 5-star experience every time. It was clear that if I wanted to offer a luxury lash experience, I’d have to create it. So we got busy, bought a house and created a beautiful, luxury lash studio right inside our third car garage. Creating this safe haven where clients can feel comfortable and relaxed has only made my relationships with my clients stronger and brought me more success. My home salon has won awards for it’s luxury design, it’s allowed me to raise my prices and have an ongoing waitlist of clients for years. Over the past few years I’ve switched my focus from igniting confidence in clients to now sharing my knowledge and igniting confidence in other beauty biz owners! I too have experienced every high and low possible and have taken all my experiences (good & bad) and have turned them into teachable moments.
My mission is to support lash artists and other beauty entrepreneurs in achieving success and happiness in their work. I’m dedicated to helping you turn your passion into a thriving luxury business that exceeds all expectations. My In-person and online education programs are designed to give industry professionals the tools they need to achieve their goals and live a fulfilling life. Through my education, I aim to assist industry professionals In achieving the life they’ve always aspired to live – a blend of professional success and personal fulfillment.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Definitely has been a bumpy road getting here but looking back I’m so grateful because I believe that made me the educator I am today. Lash artists don’t get proper business education so a lot of us are just figuring it out as we go. I was exactly where my students are only a few years ago. I had their same problems and learned the hard way so that allows me to know the right way to help them through my past experiences, almost like helping my past self. I’ve turned my struggles with toxic work environments, money management, problem clients, burn out, into lessons for other lash artists to learn from, I want the new generation of lash artists to get to where i am today, faster than i did!
