Today we’d like to introduce you to Haleigh Schroth.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My name is Haleigh Schroth and I am originally born and raised in Denville, New Jersey. I grew up very athletic playing sports. I loved soccer and lacrosse and eventually ended up signing a full division one scholarship to go to Jacksonville University and play lacrosse in college. I got my undergrad And management and business and I got my masters and business administration all well working as an intern at a company called Black Knight. Since then, I have been at Black Knight for the past 89 years or so and I now work at ice mortgage technology after an acquisition. Currently I am in sales at my company, but I have worked in this industry doing a lot of different things in the risk department under the Enterprise structure and since to originations technology, account management, and sales. On my personal side, I have been modeling for the past six years or so, and have been featured in a multitude of different magazines, print commercials online advertisements, and most recently runway shows. I am now signed with MMG as my primary agency in New York, as I continue to diverge my digital creative aspects working with brands on creative websites, such as collabstr , or social cat. TikTok is where I am most recently starting and looking to grow my feed as I was a little late to the game, but looking forward to see where my contract will take me and what brands I will be introduced to in order to continue developing my career.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I think probably the hardest thing that I went through was tearing my ACL as a sophomore in college and a junior in college I retorted as well. As an athlete, your primary goal is to play your sport. I actually identified with my sport, so when I lost that it was the first time in my life I had to Find my identity and that was pretty hard to do as a 21 year old in college. But since then I have learned that adversity only makes you stronger. I’m very grateful that in my life I’ve never been given anything up into this point, I’ve been shown that hard work pays off and I think that’s why I’ve always pursued a multitude of different career paths for myself. I’ve just always wanted to be successful in anything that I choose to work at.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
In my professional career, I think I have done a very good job at succeeding, and stepping up to the plate when I was needed. For example, adapting to change when a manager is let go, or stepping into a new role that you have not ever done before, or even trying a new opportunity have been very easy for me to adapt to because of my mindset. But my real skills come in with my relationship building, and how I’m able to relate to clients And meet their needs – while still challenging internally, our business system to make sure that we are constantly growing and getting better as a company, internally and externally. In my personal career, I currently work as an UGC creator to develop brand lifestyle videos with companies based off of what they are looking for. I have been working with companies for years and altering videos based off of what they want. I plan to turn this into a full time role as my modeling and creating career are taking off
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I do have a few mentors in my life that have really guided me and coerced me up to this point. My dad would definitely be a mentor of mine, as strict as he was, he was able to install in me that if you work hard for something you can get anything you want. And throughout the course of my life, I’ve been very fortunate to meet a couple of different people working in different genres who are entrepreneurs and you have a very strong business mindset to challenge me and make me better every day
