Meet Hailey Lowe Fennell of Hailey Lowe Fennell, Psychic Medium

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hailey Lowe Fennell

Hailey, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I often get asked if I always knew I was a Psychic Medium. The answer is a bit more complicated than a simple yes or no. I believe everyone has this ability; we can all tap into it in our own unique ways, some of us more than others, but only because we choose to. Yes, I did it as a kid without really knowing what I was doing, and I would jokingly (desperately hoping it was true) call myself a Medium at the age of 5. We quickly learn what to say and not to say to the people around us, and it’s easy to lose sight of the things that light us up. No, I didn’t intend to do this as an adult; I wasn’t fully aware it was even an option for me until my early thirties. But the journey back to Psychic Mediumship is one I wouldn’t want to redo.

Before fully leaning into Mediumship, I was a visual artist. I used outdoor game cameras, triggered by motion, to film and take pictures of animals interacting with the salt licks I cast in the form of vintage technologies like typewriters and cassette tapes. I started this work as a grad student in Sculpture at SCAD Atlanta. I would take long walks in nature to find the perfect spot to set up my cameras and place the salt licks. My first film was from Serenbe, GA, and I fell in love with the process of walking in nature, finding animal trails, and questioning what came before me and what would come after I set up my cameras. I’ve filmed in the North Georgia mountains, Chattahoochee nature trails, Ossabaw Island, a stint in Pennsylvania, another in Ginestra, Italy, the Colorado Mountains, and all over Charleston, from Awendaw to Wadmalaw. Sometimes, I would display these in an interactive exhibit at a gallery or museum, showing the motion camera video, film stills, and salt licks. Sometimes, I would just show the film stills with raccoons, deer, opossums, donkeys, bears, or even people interacting with the salt licks. It was about technology and nature and how we weave our own boundaries between the two. It was about the seen and unseen boundaries we place on nature, the people, and things around us. Looking back, I can see how my work in the art world laid the foundation for moving into Mediumship; it was a catalyst for what I do now.

Nature and art have been significant inspirations for me my entire life, so when I had my second child and found myself entirely uninterested in my art practice, I felt as though I had lost a part of myself and was desperately seeking to find what was still there. In hindsight, I know postpartum anxiety and depression played a part in this story. I was lost in my connection to myself and to what once lit me up, lost without the definition of being an artist, and was having a hard time “getting back into it.” During this time, I kept going back to the one thing that made sense: walks in nature. I developed more of a relationship with what I would simply call “the universe.” I found myself asking, “Okay universe, if not art, then what?” And each time, I was led to a series of thoughts that I honestly ignored for some time, not believing they could be for me. Thoughts like, “What would you like to tell your 9-year-old self you do now?” or “What are the things that lit you up as a kid? What did you used to call yourself? What did you know about yourself before other people changed the way you think?” And of course, the answer always was, “Being a Medium, talking to ghosts.” Or aliens. You’d be surprised how often that comes up in my work, ha!

I’ve been doing this for 6 years now, more professionally the last 3 years, and I share this to let anyone who needs to hear it know that they too can change things to be what they want to be. The more we lean into the things we are truly passionate about, the more clarity we get around them. As I became more open about being a Medium and took steps to make it my career, the more I was able to do what I do—connect people to the other side and give them the loving and supportive messages that follow.

And truly, it’s a choice. Anyone can do what I do; we can all connect for ourselves if we want. Not that it’s for everyone, but it is available to anyone, and I’m happy to show you my way so that you can find yours.

It was just a dream I had as a kid that I made a reality.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
One significant challenge I faced was transitioning my practice to a virtual format during the pandemic. Just before the pandemic hit, I had to pivot quickly and adapt to a new way of connecting with clients. This shift required rethinking how to maintain the personal touch and connection that is so crucial in my work, but through a screen instead of in-person sessions.

Despite these obstacles, the transition to virtual readings allowed me to continue providing support and guidance during a time when many needed it most. It also reinforced my commitment to making spiritual connections accessible to everyone. I was able to maintain the core of my practice—helping people connect with their loved ones, their own soul, and their guides—while ensuring that everyone could still access these services safely and conveniently from their own homes.

Now, I love virtual readings. They work the exact same way as in person readings – spirit no longer has a physical form, so they can be here, there, anywhere. The connection is just as strong.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
As a Psychic Medium, I specialize in connecting people with their loved ones who have passed away, their own soul, and their guides. My primary goal is to help individuals find clarity and direction through these connections. Each reading is unique, designed to provide the specific information that you need most in the moment.

I focus on minimal rituals and accessible methods for everyone. I believe that everyone has the potential to connect in the ways I do, and I strive to demystify the process, making it straightforward and approachable. My practice isn’t about complex or esoteric rituals; it’s about simplicity and inclusivity, ensuring that everyone can benefit from these connections without feeling overwhelmed – we all lead busy lives – this is meant to be easy, accessible and even fun!

I’m proud of my brand’s commitment to being inclusive and down-to-earth. I aim to break down barriers and make spiritual connections something anyone can achieve. This approachable and straightforward philosophy is at the heart of my practice.

I offer private one to one readings as well as group, event and corporate readings tailored to your needs. Through my readings, I aim to provide comfort, guidance, and clarity. Whether you’re seeking to connect with a loved one who has passed, understand your soul’s journey, or receive guidance from your own guides, my intention is to deliver the information that will be most beneficial for you at this time.

My work is about empowering individuals to connect on their own terms, with minimal rituals and an emphasis on ease and accessibility. I believe that spiritual connections should be available to everyone, and my mission is to make that a reality by helping people connect in and showing people how to do it for themselves.
