Today we’d like to introduce you to Darlene Cole.
Hi Darlene, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey has been absolutely extraordinary, and I’m thrilled to share it with you.
You see, I’ve always been drawn to working with people from all walks of life. My career in creative and educational work took me all over the world – the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Azerbaijan, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, India, the US, and Canada. Each experience enriched my understanding of the human condition and what we all truly need to thrive.
But the real turning point – the moment everything clicked into place – was when I had the incredible privilege of training under Marisa Peer herself and her exceptional team in Europe. That experience was transformative. It wasn’t just about learning techniques; it was about understanding the profound truth that our mind is the most powerful tool we possess, and when we change our thinking, we change our lives.
I became a certified Clinical RTT (Rapid Transformational Therapy) Hypnotherapist, and honestly, it was like coming home. Everything I’d learned from working with diverse populations around the world suddenly had this powerful framework. RTT combines hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, NLP, and CBT – all grounded in neuroscience – and it gets to the root cause quickly. Most of my clients need just one session. One! Because we’re not just treating symptoms; we’re rewiring beliefs at the deepest level.
Now, settled in beautiful Summerville, South Carolina, I help clients overcome everything from grief and anxiety to weight issues, smoking, emotional wounds, low self-esteem, OCD, and career transitions. I even do past life regression work.
My mission is simple but powerful: to empower every single person I work with to understand that they are enough, they have always been enough, and they can create the life they truly deserve. Because transformation isn’t just possible – it’s inevitable when you have the right tools and guidance.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Oh, smooth?, if it had been smooth, I wouldn’t have learned half of what I know now!
You see, the truth is, my journey has been anything but conventional. Moving from country to country – the Middle East, Southeast Asia, North America – working in creative and educational fields, I was always searching for something more meaningful. There were times of uncertainty, times when I questioned my path, times when I felt like I wasn’t quite where I was meant to be.
But here’s what I’ve learned, and what I teach my clients every single day: our struggles are not roadblocks; they’re the very foundation of our transformation.
The real challenge came when I realized that traditional approaches weren’t creating the rapid, lasting change people desperately needed. I saw people stuck in patterns – destructive habits, anxiety, low self-worth – going to therapy for years without breakthrough. That’s when I knew I had to find a better way.
Training with Marisa Peer in Europe was intense and demanding, but it gave me the tools to help people break free quickly. And I’ve seen it work time and time again.
Take Gabriel in Montevideo – he came to me determined to break free from destructive habits, and together we created healthier habits in their place. He didn’t need years of therapy; he needed to understand the root cause and reframe his beliefs.
Maria in Miami described me as “a truly fabulous therapist in RTT,” sharing how my compassionate approach led to significant breakthroughs and helped her overcome long-standing barriers. She had struggled for so long, and within our sessions, she finally embraced positive change.
Maude in Montreal couldn’t believe how I was able to take her back to an earlier time she’d completely forgotten and help her make powerful connections. After just a month of listening to her personalized recordings, she had more energy and found it easier to connect with strangers spontaneously.
And Nou in Cambodia – working in the beauty industry, she unlocked a whole new level of potential through our sessions. Her performance transformed.
The struggles taught me resilience. They taught me empathy. And most importantly, they taught me that every single person has the capacity to transform their life rapidly when they access the power of their own mind.
The road hasn’t always been smooth, but it’s been extraordinary. And every challenge has made me better equipped to guide my clients through their own transformations. Because I know firsthand that struggle is temporary, but transformation – that’s permanent when you do it right.RetryClaude can make mistakes. Please double-check responses. Sonnet 4.5
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a Certified RTT Clinical Hypnotherapist, and I’m known as “The Intuitive Hypnotherapist” – because I don’t just follow a script; I tune into exactly what each client needs for their unique transformation.
My specialty is Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) – this award-winning technique that Marisa Peer created combines hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, NLP, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, all grounded in the latest neuroscience. It’s not your traditional therapy where you come back week after week, month after month, year after year. No! Most of my clients need just one session. One! And a maximum of three if needed. That’s the power of getting to the root cause quickly.
I work with clients on grief, anxiety, weight loss, smoking cessation, healing emotional wounds, enhancing self-esteem, OCD, navigating career transitions, and even past life regression. My approach is what I call “Transformation Through Experience” and “Real-World Healing” – because I’ve lived and worked all over the world, with people from incredibly diverse backgrounds. That global perspective gives me insights that you simply can’t get from a textbook.
What am I most proud of? Honestly, it’s the transformations I witness.
Gabriel in Montevideo was determined to break free from destructive habits, and I helped him do exactly that – creating healthier habits in their place. Maria in Miami said I’m “a truly fabulous therapist in RTT” and that my compassionate approach led to significant breakthroughs, empowering her to overcome long-standing barriers. Maude in Montreal was amazed at how I took her back to forgotten memories and helped her make powerful connections – after just a month, she had more energy and found it easier to connect with people spontaneously. And Nou in Cambodia unlocked a whole new level of potential in her beauty industry career.
What sets me apart? Three things:
First, my intuitive approach. I’ve been called “The Intuitive Hypnotherapist” because I don’t treat everyone the same. I read people, I understand what’s really going on beneath the surface, and I guide them exactly where they need to go.
Second, my real-world experience. I’ve worked with people from the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Azerbaijan, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, India, the US, and Canada. I understand human nature on a global scale. I’ve seen the universal patterns that hold us all back, regardless of culture or background.
Third, my training with Marisa Peer herself. I learned from the very best, and I bring that excellence to every single session. I don’t just practice RTT – I embody its philosophy: that you are enough, you’ve always been enough, and you can transform your life rapidly when you change the beliefs running your subconscious mind.
My ultimate goal with each client is simple but profound: to empower them on their journey forward. Not to keep them dependent on therapy, but to give them the tools to transform their lives permanently. That’s what I’m known for, that’s what I’m proud of, and that’s what makes all the difference.RetryClaude can make mistakes. Please double-check responses. Sonnet 4.5
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson? That transformation doesn’t have to take years – it can happen in moments when you access the right part of the mind.
You see, for years I worked in creative and educational fields across the globe – the Middle East, Southeast Asia, all over – and I saw so many people struggling with the same issues: anxiety, low self-worth, destructive habits, emotional pain. They’d been in traditional therapy for years, sometimes decades, with minimal progress. And I kept thinking, there has to be a better way.
Then I trained with Marisa Peer in Europe, and everything changed. I learned the most profound truth: when you get to the root cause and rewire the beliefs at the subconscious level, transformation happens rapidly. Not eventually. Not someday. Rapidly.
I’ve watched Gabriel in Montevideo break free from destructive habits and replace them with healthy ones. I’ve seen Maria in Miami overcome long-standing barriers that had held her back for years. Maude in Montreal reconnected with forgotten memories that unlocked her ability to engage with the world spontaneously. Nou in Cambodia transformed her entire performance in her career.
And here’s what they all taught me: most clients need just one session. ONE. A maximum of three if needed. Because we’re not treating symptoms or rehashing the past endlessly – we’re identifying the root cause, reframing the beliefs, and empowering people to move forward.
The lesson that changed everything for me is this: Your mind is the most powerful tool you possess, and when you understand how to communicate with your subconscious, you can create lasting change without years of weekly therapy sessions.
That’s why my philosophy is “Transformation Through Experience” and “Real-World Healing.” It’s not theoretical. It’s not abstract. It’s practical, powerful, and proven.
And the most beautiful part? Every single person I work with teaches me this lesson over and over again: We are all enough. We’ve always been enough. We just need to remember it and embody it. That’s the ultimate lesson, and it never gets old.RetryClaude can make mistakes. Please double-check responses. Sonnet 4.5
