Today we’d like to introduce you to Daphne Marie
Hi Daphne, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My story is extensive but how I got to where I am today is solely by living life, learning from my mistakes and doing the shadow work. I have taken the “tragedies “ in my life and turned them into ways to triumph. I’m making my life my legacy. I have faced my fears and I continue to face them even until this very day. The most pivotal point in my life was losing my father 7 years ago. That’s when I really started my healing journey.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not! Personally I am not vulnerable openly. The people that are closest to me get to really experience me. My struggle has been doing the work pretty much on my own. So going through all my emotions by myself, the anxiety, the many days of depression, and then getting the strength to continue on each day is all me.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a style coach. I teach introverted entrepreneurs how to curate a conversational wardrobe through my Y.O.U. Method. I am known for several things but if I had to choose one it would be my ability to help people build their confidence through their clothing and step outside of their comfort zone. This would also be what I’m most proud of when it comes to my expertise. My approach and personality is what sets me apart from others.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
There are several things people don’t know but one is that from the age of 3-11 I took ballet, tap, and jazz lessons.
