Today we’d like to introduce you to Bella Eubanks.
Hi Bella, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My love for all things beauty started when I was just a little girl. I used to spend hours styling my dolls’ hair and playing “salon” —it’s always been something that felt so natural to me. Looking back, it’s no surprise that I eventually chose a career in the beauty industry!
Right after high school, I attended the Kenneth Shuler School of Cosmetology and graduated in just 10 months. It was an intense and exciting time, and I loved every minute of learning and growing in my craft.
Not long after graduation, I found my salon home at Canvas Boutique Salon in Spartanburg, SC. I still remember the first time I walked through the doors—I had this overwhelming peace that this was where I was supposed to be. Being surrounded by such a supportive and inspiring team has been a true blessing, and it has helped shape the stylist and person I am today.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There have definitely been challenges, but each one has helped me grow and become more confident in my calling. Starting out in this industry takes time and patience, but I’ve been blessed with an incredible support system and a salon environment that encourages growth. Every step—even the tough ones—has shaped me into the stylist I am today, and I’m so grateful for the journey.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My specialties include Event Hair and Makeup, Haircolor, and Extensions. I have had the pleasure of doing hair and makeup for Weddings, Special Occasions, Pageants, Runway Shows, and Editorial Shoots. I’m also so thankful for the opportunity to service my clients in their everyday lives from behind the chair.
I truly pride myself on the experience I create for each client—I want them to feel seen, heard, and genuinely valued. What sets me apart is the heart behind what I do. I see my work as a way to love and serve others well. Whether I’m doing a full blonding service, a romantic bridal updo, or a soft glam makeup look, my goal is always to help someone feel their absolute best, inside and out.
Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
One of my favorite childhood memories is playing “salon” with my American Girl Dolls—I would line them up and style their hair for hours. I’d even pretend to check them in for their appointments! Looking back, it’s so special to see how that childhood play turned into a real-life passion and career.
