Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Andreucci
Hi Amanda, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Andreucci Design Studio was born from Amanda Andreucci’s passion for design and entrepreneurial spirit, sparked during her time at Temple University’s Tyler School of Art. After graduating, she honed her skills at leading design agencies, crafting campaigns for top brands like Peloton, Sprouts Farmers Market, and Pricesmart. When she moved to Charleston, Amanda saw the potential to help small and medium-sized businesses flourish and founded Andreucci Design Studio. Today, Amanda and her team empower local businesses through tailored brand identity, website design, and social media management, providing impactful design solutions for a growing community.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Opening Andreucci Design Studio came with its own set of challenges. Finding the right clients was initially a hurdle; it took time to connect with businesses that aligned with Amanda’s vision. Scaling the business was another learning curve, demanding careful planning and strategic growth to serve more clients without sacrificing quality. Honing her craft was a constant process, with Amanda working to refine and perfect her unique approach to design. She also had to shift her mindset—embracing that challenges are a constant part of entrepreneurship, and the key is to overcome them rather than avoid them. Through it all, staying positive and optimistic became essential, reminding herself to enjoy the journey, have fun, and keep doing what she loves every step of the way.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Amanda often says that before she became a designer, she was an artist. This artistic foundation shines through in her creative approach, enabling her to think outside the box and deliver exceptional results for her clients. She frequently reflects on a question that shapes her work: What truly differentiates art from design? While distinct, the best designs emerge where the two overlap, blending creative expression with strategic purpose. This is how we are able to give our clients the best possible solution. As Alasdair Lennox of Landor aptly put it, “Our job is to make a client say maybe. Maybe to a bold, crazy idea rather than an easy, lazier idea.”
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Resilience.
