Hi Victoria, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey hasn’t been straightforward. I had just completed my master’s degree in London when COVID-19 was beginning to spread. My initial dream was to work in sports media, either in broadcasting or social media. However, at the time of my graduation and job applications, the sports industry wasn’t hiring due to the lack of live events and spectators in stadiums. I then began exploring opportunities in Europe and discovered my current company’s website. The work they did intrigued me, so I reached out, arranged a few meetings, and eventually joined the travel industry during the pandemic. Although it wasn’t the ideal time to enter the field, given the severe travel restrictions, it was an excellent opportunity to learn and prepare for the industry’s recovery. Now, three and a half years later, the industry is experiencing significant growth!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been an incredible experience, surpassing my expectations in many ways! However, working in the travel industry does come with its challenges, especially when it comes to navigating the complexities of travel logistics. The biggest challenge has been managing client expectations and assisting them as the world gradually reopened. Additionally, starting in a new industry requires time to build a client base and develop a solid understanding of which clients are the best fit for you.

I am a luxury travel advisor specializing in personalized travel planning for destinations worldwide. I particularly enjoy organizing trips to Europe, especially London, where I’ve lived for the past five years, gaining deep expertise in the city and exploring numerous other European cities. My services include hotel bookings, concierge services, private villa arrangements, flights, cruises, and much more. If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I believe that patience and kindness are two of the most essential qualities in this industry. It’s crucial to be patient with our wonderful partners, who assist us immensely, and with our clients when challenges arise. Staying organized is also vital, as many trips and itineraries involve numerous moving parts. Ensuring that all client documents are accessible and in order is key to providing excellent service.
