Today we’d like to introduce you to Shantae’ Noelle Bellamy.
Hi Shantae’ Noelle, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
A native of Brooklyn NY, …. Shantae’ Noelle also known as “NoelleBStyles ” Draped By Noelle B. started her journey in the fashion industry as a runway fashion model. Shantae’ always has been known for her way of style, ranging from vintage, to high fashion and all in between. NoelleBStyles has many hats not only does she designs clothes for clients but also she makes her pieces right onset for photoshoots and more. Shantae’ Noelle wants her clients to feel good and look great not only physically but mentally as well.
She was part owner of the production/ modeling company called Pretty Gyrlz Productions where she choreographed and styled the models for their annual fashion shows, they also participate in hair shows across the nation. With her fashion looks & her stage presence, she also got a chance to become a lead runway model in some of the top fashion shows on the east coast region and became known as the 5’1 Supermodel. Currently, she resides in Columbia, SC. She is the mom to her handsome son, Sir Langston, who works for Wells Fargo Bank.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Being in this industry definitely has had its ups and downs. But I enjoy every moment of it, regardless of what the outcome was and has been. So I won’t say there have been any struggles but sometimes things can get a bit challenging. But I’ve taken every situation as a lesson learn and continue to grow from it.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
She is a Wardrobe Stylist, Production Director, Event Choreographer & Owner of L’icône Swimwear. What makes NoelleB different from some stylists and designers, she’s self-taught. She states that when her clients experience getting ” Draped by NoelleB ” they discover a higher level of Art, Style, and Confidence. Shantae’ Noelle doesn’t limit herself to just one inspiration but overall life in itself. It’s about the journey, the experience from all cultures.
Shantae’ Noelle creates very outstanding pieces which include “Unconventional“ items, such as newspaper paper, shower curtains, which she has now turned into wearable art .. she actually was the 1st Wearable Art Designer ever to showcase for the “ The Kings Exhibition “ Art Tour featuring the works of Jean-Michel Basquiat which are currently traveling throughout various states.
Currently, she holds the title of the 2019 Sheen Magazine Creative Stylist of the Year, Co-Founder of EnVeux Modeling Company of her Alma Mata Claflin University, Showcased as an Emerging & Recyclable Designer for Charlotte Fashion week 2017, Awarded Top 25 Most Stylist Persons of Columbia, SC.
