Hi, I’m Shallah Dozier, a real estate and event photographer based in Charleston, South Carolina.
My photography journey began in 2018 with drone, landscape, and interior photography. After picking up my wife’s Nikon D3300, I quickly developed a passion for the craft and became committed to learning everything I could about photography.
Since then, I’ve focused on producing high-quality, story-driven imagery—whether documenting once-in-a-lifetime wedding moments, highlighting residential and commercial properties, or creating branding content that helps businesses stand out.
My goal is to provide every client with exceptional customer service, timeless images, and an experience that is both professional and enjoyable from start to finish.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with a variety of respected brands and organizations, including DRB Homes, ROOKE Custom Homes, Eastwood Homes, Real Estate House International, KION North America, Classic Remodeling & Construction, IHG Hotels & Resorts, Hunter Quinn Homes, Charleston Home + Design Magazine, and HGTV. These opportunities have allowed me to refine my craft while building lasting relationships with clients who trust me to bring their vision to life.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Like most entrepreneurs, my journey hasn’t been completely smooth. One of the biggest challenges was building a business from the ground up while continuously investing in better equipment, education, and marketing. Photography is a competitive industry, so earning clients’ trust and standing out required consistency, patience, and a commitment to delivering exceptional work every time. I pride myself on delivering quality work and giving outstanding customer service each time.

I’m the owner of Mind of Divine Photography, specializing in real estate, architectural, commercial, and event photography throughout Charleston, South Carolina. My goal is to create high-quality images that help businesses grow, real estate professionals market properties, and clients preserve meaningful moments.
What I’m most proud of is the trust I’ve built with my clients through consistent quality, professionalism, and reliable service. Many of my opportunities come from repeat clients and referrals, which speaks to the relationships I’ve built over the years.
What sets me apart is my attention to detail, commitment to delivering exceptional results, and focus on creating images that not only look great but also help my clients achieve their goals.
