Today we’d like to introduce you to Noe Tchouamo.
Hi Noe, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’m a junior producer and emerging writer based in Los Angeles. My creative work spans film and literature, including the film ABBA, the crime drama series Cloning Season, and a French-language novella titled La petite Elise. Each project reflects my passion for storytelling that explores identity, culture, and human complexity. As I continue to grow in the industry, I’m focused on producing meaningful, character driven stories that connect with diverse audiences. Whether on screen or on the page, I aim to build narratives that are bold, emotionally resonant, and rooted in real experiences.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all ,it’s definitely been a journey filled with challenges. As an immigrant and international student navigating life in Los Angeles, I’ve had to build everything from the ground up, often without the safety nets or connections many others have. Balancing creative ambitions with work, school, and immigration responsibilities wasn’t easy.
There were times I questioned whether I belonged in this industry, especially when faced with financial constraints or when my ideas didn’t fit traditional expectations. But those struggles shaped my resilience. They pushed me to think creatively, stay focused, and carve my own lane as a storyteller and producer.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a junior producer and writer based in Los Angeles. I’ve produced visuals for a wide range of projects, including personal content, live events, short documentaries, and promotional media. My goal is always to capture stories with clarity and emotional impact. I also write and produce narrative work, including the short film ABBA, the TV pilot Cloning Season, and my French novella La petite Elise. My storytelling focuses on identity, culture, and moral conflict. What sets me apart is my ability to move between formats and communities, creating work that is both personal and universally resonant.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was naturally curious and observant always paying attention to people, their stories, and the quiet moments in between. I was the kind of kid who asked deep questions and liked listening more than talking. I had a strong imagination and often found myself daydreaming or writing little stories.
Creatively, I was drawn to music, films, and books early on. I loved anything that allowed me to escape into different worlds or understand human emotions better. Personality wise, I was thoughtful, empathetic, and introspective, but also driven.I wanted to create, to lead, and to find meaning in everything I did.
