Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Weller
Hi Ashley, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started in Social media over twelve years ago never expecting it to grow into what it is today. I knew that I wanted to be a lifestyle influencer that had deep roots in the south. I wanted to share my love of fashion, food, beauty, home decor and travel. My goal is to inspire women to be their best, love life and to know that they are enough exactly the way they are.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road getting here has not always been a smooth one. Like anything that is worth it, it has taken a lot of work, patience, and reaching out and sending hundreds of emails! It takes courage and a strong confidence to present yourself to companies and let them know that you are here to support their business and want what is best for them. I love meeting new people and learning about their business and what got them started.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a Lifestyle social media influencer, which means that I work with small and large businesses to get their names out to the public and in the faces of my local audience! I help grow their following, inspire others to shop their products and bring more customer to their business base.
I am most proud of the fact that I have worked with 70% of my companies more than four times and have worked with 25% of my companies for over five years. I think what sets me apart is the fact that I am focused on being authentic and true to my brand while helping grow other businesses.
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
I began my Southern Social Media Lifestyle business in Texas where I lived for over 40 years and have just recently moved to Pawleys Island South Carolina in the last eight months. I absolutely love South Carolina and everything it has to offer! I have already worked with companies in Charleston, Beaufort, Pawleys Island. Murrells Inlet and Myrtle Beach! I cannot wait to do so much more!
