Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Turner.
Hi Ashley, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’ve always had a passion for beauty, skincare, and helping people feel confident in their own skin. About five years ago, I decided to turn that passion into a career and became a licensed esthetician. Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to build a loyal clientele, many of whom travel from all over just to sit in my chair. What keeps me motivated is seeing the difference I can make, not only in someone’s skin and appearance, but in how they feel about themselves. It’s been such a rewarding journey, and I’m excited to keep growing and helping even more people along the way.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. I started my esthetician career right at the end of Covid’s peak, when a lot of salons were still shut down, mask mandates were in place, and facials and brows weren’t exactly at the top of people’s priority lists. It was a slow start, and at times it felt uncertain. But as clients slowly began coming through the door, I focused on building strong relationships and making sure every person left feeling cared for. Those connections turned into loyal clients who kept coming back, and eventually, word of mouth helped my name get out there. It was challenging, but it taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and truly valuing the people who support you.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m an esthetician based in downtown Spartanburg, and I specialize in brow services, though I also offer facials, back facials, body and face waxing, and lash lifts and tints. I’d say I’m best known for my brow work, but also for the experience I create-clients often tell me it’s my genuine care and kind personality that keep them coming back. What I’m most proud of is being voted Best Esthetician in Spartanburg for three years in a row. To me, that recognition reflects not just my skill, but also the relationships I’ve built and the trust clients place in me. What sets me apart is my work ethic and my drive to make sure every single person leaves my chair feeling confident, cared for, and happy with their results.

If you’re looking for your forever ‘go-to’ girl for all things beauty, I’d love to be that person for you. Whether it’s a relaxing facial where you can truly unwind, or a brow appointment where we catch up and laugh (and maybe even gossip a little), my goal is always to make you feel comfortable, cared for, and confident. My chair is more than just a place for beauty services, it’s a place where clients feel like friends.
