Today we’d like to introduce you to Victor Jones
Hi Victor, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started my music journey as a Rapper then transitioned into music production & audio engineering to start recording & producing my own music. After some time of not understanding the music business I then enrolled into Full Sail University for Entertainment Business (didn’t finish) but I started learning the power of networking which lead to many relationships, connections in the music industry. My journey in Videographer started when I was Managing a few Rappers, I bought camera equipment so that we could out work everyone in our local market with Music Videos, Video Content etc… but the Artist did’t have the work ethic I expected them to. I was left with all the equipment which lead me to start filming for Club owners and local Promoters as a means to recouping the money I invested into the camera equipment. I eventually started catching the attention of local Artist which lead me into filming music videos and party recap videos. As time went on and I really started learning the craft of videography & video production I started getting amazing opportunities to work along side celebrity entertainers and music artist. I believe the key to my success of where I am today is Networking and being talented at my craft. I am now a 5x award winner and have been on multiple nation wide tours with major artist.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
it wasn’t a smooth ride, there were times I wanted to quit because I felt my success wasn’t coming fast enough. I then came across the stories of some of the most successful people in the world and learned that it’s a long process to become great or successful at something you love to do. I wouldn’t say I had any struggles just learning lessons to help me become better and learn how to navigate in the industry I am in.
We’ve been impressed with Glassed By Chop Video Production, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I have over a decade of experience as a videographer/video director. I specialize/known for Concert recaps, Music Videos, Content Videos. I believe what sets me apart is the fact that I pride myself in giving my clients the best quality product possible and I’m willing to go the extra mile to assist my clients with bringing their vision to life.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
In order to achieve any sort of success you have to take a risk rather it’s investing in yourself or investing in something you have no guarantee that you will profit from it. I took the risk on buying $3,500 worth a video equipment starting out not knowing if i was going to get a ROI on my investment but I was determine to not fail or take the loss.
