Inspiring Conversations with Tomas Villar of Villar 360

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tomas Villar.

Hi Tomas, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
well i got here when i was 14 years old (now 40) I went to high school but didn’t finish (only finished 10th grade before dropping out) because of that decision my dad was pissed but school wasn’t my thing. My dad had started obligating me to start working as an electrician, after a while i ended up liking this trade but after 10 years of doing this i started getting involved in other trades and thanks to the help of my beautiful wife we started our own business but it wasn’t easy since i had very little knowledge about business back then. There were times where i thought of giving up, but my wife had always encouraged me to not give up. we struggled a lot because at the time my wife was pregnant and financially, i wasn’t in the best situation but life brought me to some amazing people that guided me into having the right mindset. After few years our business started to grow so we bought our first house after living in a mobile home for 10 years. Because of this financial growth we started investing in real estate we started with flipping houses then later we moved to building new houses and after years in business i learnt how to create an investor’s portfolio, that at the time gave us more capital to create better investments so after that we went from building low income homes to building more luxurious homes and created a brand that now and days people recognize. (today, we have a real estate portfolio, a custom cabinets business, and a private investors portfolio.)

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
