Hi ‘Sip & Share LLC, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Our journey began at the University of Mississippi, where we all studied marketing. After graduation, we each took our own paths, but fate brought us together again in Charleston, where we were all seeking new opportunities. It was during this time that we saw a gap in the market for high-quality content creation at weddings and other events—a niche that sparked the vision for what would become our business.
In early 2024, we sat down together to discuss how we could turn this idea into a reality. What started as casual conversations quickly turned into countless hours of planning, brainstorming, and strategizing. We knew the road ahead would be challenging, but we were motivated by a shared passion for what we wanted to create.
Thanks to the support of our local community, we’ve been fortunate to build a strong foundation, despite the hurdles that come with starting a new business. We began by offering our content creation services pro bono at local events, which not only helped us build our portfolio but also opened doors to new opportunities. This has led to the development of three distinct content creation packages, as well as the addition of graphic design and marketing services—areas where our background in marketing has allowed us to offer even more value to our clients.
Since then, we’ve had the pleasure of working with local event planners, small businesses, and event venues. Looking ahead, we’re excited for what the future holds and are hopeful for continued growth and success in 2025 and beyond.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, especially since none of us are originally from Charleston. Starting a business in a city where we didn’t have an established network meant we had to put in extra effort to connect with the right people and seek out opportunities. Networking has been a key challenge for us—we’ve had to be intentional about attending events, building relationships, and gaining the trust of the local community.
While we’re not quite where we want to be yet, we’re proud of the progress we’ve made. We know it’s a marathon, not a sprint. The connections we’ve built so far have been invaluable, and we’re confident that with the momentum we’ve gained, we’ll continue to grow and thrive. We’ve learned that persistence, patience, and staying focused on our vision will take us exactly where we want to go.
