Today we’d like to introduce you to Robert McClure.
Hi Robert, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I got my Real Estate license, and my business took off without looking back. I spent 2017-2021 as a Police Officer in Charlotte, NC, and in 2021 after the birth of my youngest daughter, I decided it was time for a change. With north of 150 transactions closed in NC/SC in 2021-2023, we are taking our firm (McClure Group Realty) National with plans to expand into all 50 states over the next 5 years.
Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
The struggle was in the decision to leave my career in policing, where my salary was guaranteed. It was quite the risk with two children, but one that paid off tremendously! There have been growing pains since then, but we have been very fortunate to see tremendous business growth year over year.

We are an independent Real Estate Brokerage serving NC, SC, and GA. Within the next few weeks, we will have a footprint in TN and VA with plans to expand across all 50 states. We specialize in residential real estate, though we are also looking to move into property management and commercial. Our customer service is top-notch and packaged as a white glove service which is why our previous client reviews speak for themselves! We work with both buyers and sellers. Our brand is based on authenticity and integrity. Many of our core ideals come from my policing background; our clients love that about us.
We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
We entered the industry during the crazy Covid-19 housing market, which helped launch our business quickly. While I can’t think of a specific lesson learned from that, we may never see a market like that again.
