Inspiring Conversations with Mark Goldfuss- Big Fuss Fresh Food of Big Fuss Fresh Food

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mark Goldfuss- Big Fuss Fresh Food.

Hi Mark , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
What started as a backup plan has turned into a dream come true.

I’ve always loved to cook. While I was running my construction business, I began thinking about starting a food truck as a Plan B in case the economy ever slowed down. I had no idea that one day it would become my full-time career.

When I met Angie, I shared that dream with her. Instead of letting it stay just an idea, we started planning together. We decided to take a slow, steady approach by doing pop-up events before investing in a food trailer. Those first few months gave us the chance to learn, refine our menu, and most importantly, build relationships with our customers.

The response was better than we could have imagined. After about six months of pop-ups, we knew it was time to take the leap and order our trailer. Soon after it arrived, my Plan B officially became Plan A.

As the business has grown, so has our vision. Listening to our customers inspired us to expand beyond the food truck by launching Big Fuss Fresh Meals—fresh, pre-ordered meals that make it easier for busy people and families to enjoy wholesome, home-style food throughout the week.

Looking back, we’re thankful we chose to start small. Every event, every customer, and every word of encouragement helped shape who we are today. We’re grateful for the community that has supported us from the beginning, and we’re excited to keep serving great food while continuing to grow.

At the end of the day, that’s what Big Fuss Fresh Food is all about—bringing people together over a good meal and making every customer feel like family.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Like any small business, it hasn’t always been a smooth road. Both Angie and I have always been self-employed, so we understand the hard work and commitment it takes to build a business. There have been long hours, plenty of learning, and sacrifices along the way, but every step has been worth it. We’re grateful for the support of our customers and our community.

We’ve been impressed with Big Fuss Fresh Food, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At Big Fuss Fresh Food, we believe great food starts with quality ingredients and a passion for serving people. While many know us for our food truck, we’ve also expanded to offer Big Fuss Fresh Meals—fresh, pre-ordered meals that make eating well convenient without sacrificing flavor.

What sets us apart is our attention to detail and our commitment to doing things the right way. We use quality ingredients, prepare our meals with care, and never lose sight of the customer experience. Whether someone is ordering a burger from the food truck or picking up a week’s worth of fresh meals, we want every meal to be one we’re proud to serve.

What we’re most proud of is the trust our customers have placed in us. Their continued support, referrals, and encouragement have allowed us to grow from a small pop-up into a full-time business. We don’t take that for granted, and we look forward to continuing to serve our community for years to come.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
