Hi Kathryn, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was adjusted the 1st day I was born. My father was a Chiropractor and he inspired me and my 3 siblings to become Chiropractors. I took over my dad’s practice in 1997 and have helped thousands of people achieve better health and greater mobility, as well as maintain longer independence.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasnt always been smooth sailing. I graduated Life Chiropractic University when I was 25. When I started practicing in an established, successful office my dad opened, 17 years prior, I found out there were some big shoes to fill. Chiropractic school teaches you how to become a chiropractor but does not teach you how to run an office. I struggled in the beginning and because I was young, I had to earn the trust from the patients.

I own and operate a christian Chiropractic office for all ages. We offer wellness care, nutritional support, and rehabilitation of the spine. I specialize in the Activator technique. This is an instrument that gives 27lbs of pressure when applied to the spine in order to correct spinal Subluxations. Subluxations are misalignments of the spinal vertebrae that interferes with the proper flow of the nervous system. Your nervous system controls every function of your body as well as correlates all other systems. Through trauma, toxins, and (negative) thoughts, Subluxations can occur at any age and only a Chiropractor can detect and correct them.
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
My mentors have always been my brothers. My father past away when I was 19 yrs old. However, shortly after I started practicing in my office, a colleague of mine introduced me to a company called AMC/Aligned. Through the years, they have given me the concepts and procedures (and courage) to grow my office with integrity and honesty. Come to find out, they were the same people that mentored my dad back in the day.
