Inspiring Conversations with Jordan Floyd of Limitless Therapy and Wellness

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordan Floyd.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I began my career in athletic training and worked 4 years in the NFL while continuing my physical therapy education. I thought I would work in professional sports forever, but I realized the strain that that would place on my family and decided to work to translate those clinical skills that I gathered in the professional sports setting and bring them to my local community. I finished physical therapy school in 2014 and did a Residency program specializing in Orthopedics in 2015 in Greenville South Carolina and worked in a hospital based outpatient setting for 4 years. This was critical to developing my skills but it also forced me to realize the friction that exists as a patient in a setting like this. So I set out to start from scratch as if I was a kid playing in a sandbox and I could build a physical therapy practice around the ideal patient experience. What started with one client (visiting her in her apartment after my normal working hours) turned into a full-time business in 2019. Since then, Limitless Therapy and Wellness has grown to three brick and mortar locations and 10 full-time staff members. We have added pelvic health, personal training, and functional nutrition services over the last several years as well to continue to round out a holistic and top-notch patient experience.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The entrepreneurial journey has certainly not been smooth, but I’m incredibly humbled at the work that we have accomplished and the people that we have assembled as a part of this team over the last several years. I certainly experienced the highs and lows of financial uncertainty, staffing turnover, Covid and the anxiety that came with that, etc. but I knew that if we created a compelling patient experience that Limitless would endure all of that and it has.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Limitless Therapy and Wellness?
Limitless exists to redefine what healthcare and wellness should feel like. We believe no one should ever reach a dead end in their health journey, which is why we’ve built an integrated team that helps people move better, perform better, and live better through physical therapy, pelvic health, fitness, functional nutrition, and recovery services.

We’re known for solving the cases that often fall through the cracks, whether that’s chronic pain, sports injuries, pregnancy and postpartum concerns, dizziness and balance issues, Parkinson’s disease, or performance optimization. We don’t chase quick fixes or cookie-cutter treatment plans. Every recommendation is individualized, evidence-informed, and focused on helping people return to the activities that matter most to them.

What truly sets us apart is our philosophy: solutions without limits. We aren’t confined by traditional healthcare models, insurance contracts, or the mindset of “that’s just something you’ll have to live with.” If a client needs physical therapy, great. If they need strength training, nutrition coaching, recovery services, or a combination of disciplines, we’ll guide them toward the right solution, even if it extends beyond a single service line.

More than anything, we’re proud of the culture we’ve built. Our team is committed to exceeding expectations, serving selflessly, building genuine relationships, and pursuing expertise relentlessly. Every person who walks through our doors should leave feeling heard, valued, and more confident about their future than when they arrived.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
People can seek out our services and meet the various members of our team to understand more about what we do and how we help people in Upstate South Carolina. We also love hosting and collaborating on events, so anyone who wants to do an event that centers around health, fitness, etc. we would love to collaborate.
