Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeffery Williams
Hi Jeffery, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started preaching at the age of 14 years old in Greenville Sc at Rock of Ages Baptist Church. I have worked in many areas of ministry. I’m now Pastoring my 4 church where I’ve been serving for the last 9 years.
Born on July 20, 1985, in Greenville, SC, Pastor Jeffery L. Williams has built a distinguished career rooted in leadership, service, and empowerment. Educated in the Greenville County Public School system. Pastor Jeffery’s commitment to excellence and his community has been a constant throughout his life. He was very influential in leading the effort to revitalize the Sanctified Hill Park located behind his church.
Pastor of Golden View Baptist Church in Fountain Inn, SC, Pastor Jeffery’s influence extends far beyond the pulpit. As a dynamic speaker and educator, he is deeply involved with several prominent organizations, including the Progressive National Baptist Convention Inc where he currently serves as the President of the Southern Region which consists of 9 states. He is also a member of the South Carolina E&M Baptist Convention, and The Baptist Ministers’ Fellowship of Greenville & Vicinity. His work within these organizations showcases his dedication to leadership and community development.
A man of great strength and courage, Pastor Williams wholeheartedly believes in and proclaims the liberating message that “He who the Son sets free is free indeed.” Beyond his vocation, he leads a fulfilling personal life, happily married to Lady Monique Barksdale Williams, and they are the proud parents of four sons: Noah, Eden, Prince Judah, and Micah
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No it hasn’t been a smooth road. Having to prove that although I’m young in age I’m equipped for the job of Pastoring. Having to face illness on the journey while Pastoring was very tough and a great challenge to my faith. Trying to balance family and ministry was difficult.

We are a church that believes in spreading the love of Jesus and transforming lives to go out and be better disciples. One of the things that makes our church stand out is that we do our best to make everyone who comes to our church feels the love and care.
