Today we’d like to introduce you to Jawaski Hampton Jr.
Hi Jawaski , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It started off as just throwing multiple big house parties around last December/January. But I’ve been promoting parties for years now, just never really did my own thing. After the last house party we came up with the idea to start a party group and just make it into a business. So I started our Instagram page where we are able to to promote our business, post any content from the party, & also looking into doing some promos with people. Our first official big party as a business we did went great! Now we fast forward to today where we have a process of booking our venues at least a month in advance and also having the numbers of majority of the buildings so we have options. We also have our own security team for any event or party we host Stamped Protection Services LLC.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The biggest challenge I would have to say with being in the entertainment business is making sure you can find equip buildings most of the time for an event & making sure we book enough time in advance so a lot of places don’t just get taken away from us.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We provide a safe and fun environment for teens to have fun while enjoying the party life. I would say something we are known for is that we ensure at all our parties that no one gets hurt or injured in any way. The amount of people we have had at each of our parties I feel as separates us from a lot of people that can not necessarily produce as much parties as we do while still having a packed out party every single time. I want people to know during this year we are looking to expand more meaning bringing more artist from different cities to come perform and get our business some more exposure as well.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I was always the independent type of child growing up due to being the only child, but I love being around people and enjoy having fun. I’ve always been looked at as a leader my whole life. Whether it was in the classroom, the captain of my sports teams, or just simply being one of the top students at school. I loved helping people always volunteering somewhere helping the homeless, we would pick up trash every Saturday morning on the roads, & every Thanksgiving/Christmas i’d go feed the homeless every year with my mother.
