SUNE RECORDS
MENTORING WITH MUSIC

We are giving our youth an alternative From being in the streets. And introducing them to a life in the studio.
(Giving them a reality check that it’s not always what they see in the videos.)

The basis for this program is to teach children and students that they do not have to be rappers or singers or play a instrument or be on stage to be in the music industry.

There is just as much money behind the scenes as there is in the spotlight maybe even more.
We can teach these students to create their own business.

We will be facilitating an Interactive music program that teaches social skills, emotional management techniques and substance use diversion.

We will be using Music production and
interactive instrumentation as a part of the program.
(We will have staff with in the studio for the social skills and emotional part.)

This will be an 8 week program

Weeks 1-3 Fundamentals
During this Term We will cover the purpose of recorded music, The goals of building different types of musical works. And targeting points of different demographics of customers.

Weeks 4-5 Project preparation
During this term we will start planning and preparing for the execution of a musical composition, Locking in the genre and style of a song, And how to go about building it, Putting the process in order and setting the deadline for completion.

Weeks 7-8 Project Completion
During this term we will put the plan from the previous term into effect, We will execute building instrumentation, Writing lyrics and recording vocals, This term will also include a crash course and mixing recorded music, And mastering a mixed recording.

We will allow them to have fun with this, we will refrain from violent rap content, But they can be creative

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Trying to come up with the whole idea, getting sponsors grants donations to be able to feed the kids transportation to be able to take them, and also building a curriculum that they can understand

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about SUNE RECORDS /MENTORING WITH MUSIC ?
