Starting a business takes time, effort, and a lot of perseverance. It’s easy to get excited at the beginning, but the reality is that it takes patience to build momentum. I wish I had known earlier that success doesn’t happen overnight—it’s a gradual process of building trust, refining your offerings, and establishing a brand that people can recognize and rely on.
2. Focus on What Makes You Unique
There’s always competition in any industry, but the key is to figure out what sets you apart. For Dreams & Drinks, it was the combination of my unique background as a mixologist from Cuba, the personalized experience we offer, and our commitment to creating truly customized events.
