Today we’d like to introduce you to Derricus Davis.

Hi Derricus, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I actually started off just helping close family and friends, doing small jobs here and there whenever they needed an extra hand. At the time, I wasn’t thinking about starting a business I just enjoyed helping people and solving problems. Over time, word started to spread, and people outside of my immediate circle began reaching out, asking if I could help them too.

After one of those busy weeks, my wife and I sat down and had a real conversation about the direction things were heading. We both recognized that what started as small favors was becoming something much bigger. That’s when we made the decision together to take it seriously and turn it into a business.

I took the skills I had developed, combined them with a strong work ethic, and together we started building this business from the ground up.

Today, I’m proud of how far it’s come. It’s still rooted in that same heart of service helping people and making their lives a little easier but now it’s grown into something that reaches far beyond just family and friends.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. Starting out, one of the biggest challenges was moving from just helping family and friends to building trust with new customers and finding consistent work.

Running a business also comes with daily challenges, like managing time, handling unexpected issues, and making sure every job is done right, even when things get busy.

Even though it hasn’t always been easy, every challenge has taught me something valuable. It’s helped me grow, stay focused, and keep pushing forward. It’s not a perfect road, but it’s been worth it.

My business specializes in junk removal, moving services, and commercial cleaning. We’re known for being reliable, efficient, and professional no matter the size of the job. Whether it’s helping someone clear out unwanted items, relocating their home, or keeping a business space clean and presentable, we approach every project with care and attention to detail.

What sets us apart is our commitment to treating every customer with respect and making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. We show up on time, communicate clearly, and make sure the job is done right the first time. Many of our customers come back to us or refer others because they trust the quality of our work and our strong work ethic.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Over the next 5–10 years, I see the junk removal, moving, and cleaning industries continuing to grow, especially as more people focus on decluttering, downsizing, and staying organized. I think more people are realizing the value of hiring professionals to save time and avoid the stress of trying to handle it all on their own.

People want to know their junk isn’t just being dumped, but properly recycled or disposed of. Technology will likely play a bigger role too, making it easier for customers to book services online and for companies to stay organized and efficient.

At the end of the day, no matter how the industry shifts, I think people will always look for companies that are dependable, honest, and easy to work with. That’s what I plan to keep focusing on.
