Inspiring Conversations with Daniel Hunnicutt of Law Offices of Daniel Hunnicutt

Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Hunnicutt.

Hi Daniel, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I came to Horry County out of law school to work for a firm in Myrtle Beach. A couple of years later, I moved to Conway and started my own firm. I have mostly focused on the areas of personal injury and workers’ compensation, but I have always had kind of a general practice as my clients ask me to do a lot of different things for them. I got to where I am today by focusing on my client’s needs and always giving them my honest advice. People want a lawyer they can trust and that cares about them and that is what we try to provide.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not always been smooth. When I first went out on my own, there were a lot of things I didn’t know about practicing law and running a business that I didn’t know I didn’t know. There is just so much that goes into both of those things, and at the end of the day, you are responsible for doing what you are supposed to do even if you don’t know you are supposed to do it. But I have been pretty fortunate for the most part.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My business is a small law office that focuses on personal injury and workers compensation. We also do other areas of law if we are able to help. What sets me apart from others is the amount of effort we put into always putting our clients first. I always try to tell them the truth and put their interests before my own. I also try to fight just as hard for the smaller clients as I do for the big ones. I want my clients to never have any doubt that I am on their side. People can tell when you care about them and they respond well to it. My clients trust me and keep coming back, and that is what I am most proud of. And what I would want your readers to know is that if they call my office, I will do everything I can to help them or to find someone that will.
