Inspiring Conversations with Cole Erdman of Erdman Enterprises LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cole Erdman.

Hi Cole, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I have always been a car guy and had an entrepreneurial spirit. I purchased an existing Maaco franchise a few years ago and grew that by 40% YOY sales. Last year I successfully purchased the Holt Transmission group which consists of a shop in North Charleston, Summerville and West Ashley. I have continued to drive and grow sales at all shops as well. I am always looking for more opportunities to grow our foot print.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not always been smooth, but I have a lets get it done approach. I have struggled with an electrical fire, ice storms, hurricanes and of course, staffing. We always come out of the experiences learning and adapting to what’s next.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Erdman Enterprises is a management company. We have several businesses under our umbrella. We have 3 Holt Transmission shops, a Maaco Paint and Body shop and NHOU Lowcountry which specializes in mobile undercoating to. protect vehicles from rust and corrosion. I’m most proud of my team, I have great managers and staff at each location that allow me to continue growing. What sets us apart from other companies in our space is the way we treat our customers. We treat everyone like family and strive to provide the absolute best customer service. What I would like your readers to know is that if they have any vehicle problems they can call us anytime for a free estimate and or diagnostic.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
You can always learn from people around you. It may be what to do and may be what NOT to do. Never stop learning
