Hi Colden, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
High Peaks Electric started when Carson and I saw an opportunity to build something together that played to both of our strengths. Carson had already spent years building his career in the electrical trade, while I had spent nearly a decade building my own digital marketing company and developing a background in business and marketing. We saw an opportunity to take Carson’s experience in the field and combine it with my experience on the business side to build something we could grow together. From the beginning, we’ve focused on doing quality work, taking care of our customers, and building a company that reflects the standards we have for ourselves. The company has grown quickly since we opened our doors, and we’re excited to continue building High Peaks Electric into a lasting name in the region.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been without its challenges, but we’ve been extremely fortunate with how the community has received us. Starting a new company and establishing your name takes a lot of work, but the support, referrals, and trust we’ve received from people in the area have made the process incredibly rewarding. We’re especially grateful for the customers who gave us an opportunity early on and then recommended us to their friends, families, and neighbors.

High Peaks Electric is a locally owned electrical company serving homeowners throughout the Adirondack region, with a focus on quality workmanship, dependable service, and a professional customer experience. We handle everything from electrical repairs and upgrades to larger electrical projects, and we’ve built our reputation around being responsive, thorough, and easy to work with. One thing that has always been important to us is treating the business like a professional company from day one, from the quality of our work to how we communicate and present ourselves to customers. We’re especially proud of the brand we’ve built and the trust we’ve earned in such a short time, because we want High Peaks Electric to be a name people immediately associate with quality and reliability. What makes you happy?
What makes us happiest is seeing High Peaks Electric continue to grow and knowing that growth creates opportunities for other people in our community. We want to build a company that provides good, stable careers in the trades and gives people an opportunity to build a future for themselves. As we continue to grow, we’re excited to play our role in creating more opportunities right here in our local communities for young folks seeking an opportunity to be rewarded for hard work.
