Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina DiArcangelo
Hi Christina, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Absolutely. My journey has been anything but conventional, and every challenge I’ve faced has shaped who I am today. I come from a blue-collar household, where hard work and resilience were instilled in me from a young age. My father, a steelworker and union leader, fought tirelessly for workers’ rights, and that sense of advocacy stuck with me.
I’ve always been driven by a deep sense of purpose—whether in business, advocacy, or personal challenges. I started in the corporate world and eventually became a multi-company CEO, leading Affinity Bio Partners, a clinical research organization focused on advancing biotech and pharmaceutical innovation. I also founded Spectral Analytics Precision Tele-Monitoring, which bridges AI and remote monitoring technologies to enhance patient care. But beyond business, advocacy has always been at my core, which is why I launched Affinity Patient Advocacy—born out of my personal experiences navigating the healthcare system for my father, my mother, and even myself as a COVID long-hauler. I saw firsthand how difficult it is for patients and families to get the support they need, so I made it my mission to fight for them.
In 2020, at my lowest point after surviving domestic violence for the second time, I launched my personal brand, “I Am Christina DiArcangelo”, to empower others and speak openly about resilience. That expanded into multiple platforms—my podcasts, “Humanitarian Horizons” and “Christina DiArcangelo Unveiled”, my e-magazine The DiArc, and most recently, my book Rescuing Mom, which exposes the realities of elder abuse and the fight for justice.
I also created Sparkle Sisters, a brand that celebrates empowerment and self-worth. Through this, I’ve launched merchandise like my “I Feel Like DiArc” hoodie and my Christina DiArcangelo lash line, which are more than just products—they represent strength, resilience, and confidence.
Through all of this, I’ve also been raising my incredible son, Christian, who is my greatest blessing. As a mother, an entrepreneur, and an advocate, my mission is clear—to fight for those who need a voice, to stand up against injustice, and to continue breaking barriers. Every success I’ve had, every award I’ve received, and every challenge I’ve overcome is proof that resilience and passion can create real change.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not at all. My journey has been filled with adversity—personally and professionally. I’ve faced devastations in my family, from serious illnesses to heartbreaking losses. My father’s passing from cancer was a major turning point in my life, as it inspired me to start Affinity Patient Advocacy to help others navigate the often-inaccessible healthcare system. My mother’s battle with mental health issues and the elder abuse she suffered was another tragedy that pushed me to fight for justice, which I share in my book, Rescuing Mom.
I’ve also had to endure the pain of divorce and the complexities of a custody battle. What made it even harder was being openly criticized in court by opposing counsel simply for being an independent, successful female CEO—as if my success somehow made me unfit as a mother. That was one of the most infuriating moments of my life, but it also fueled my determination to keep breaking barriers. No woman should ever be made to feel guilty for having ambition, especially when she’s also a devoted mother.
On top of all this, I’m a COVID long-hauler, which has made even the simplest things challenging. There were days when my body wouldn’t cooperate, but I still had businesses to run, a child to raise, and a mission to pursue.
Despite these struggles, I’ve never let adversity define me. If anything, it has made me stronger. I continue to push forward—not just for myself, but for the people I advocate for, for my son, and for every woman who has been told she has to choose between success and family. We can be both powerful and nurturing, and no one should tell us otherwise.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
