Today we’d like to introduce you to Bailey Weightman.
Hi Bailey, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I was born and raised in upstate NY. I went to University at Buffalo and completed my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences. I then went to dental school and received my DDS degree from Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. I completed a one year general practice residency through Stony Brook University Hospital. I then received my Master of Science in Dentistry and Certificate in Endodontics from UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry. I have been in private practice in Endodontics for 5 years. I became the new owner of Endodontics Ltd in Mount Pleasant, SC in November 2025! It has been a rewarding career thus far!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The length of school was a challenge in itself, as I completed college in 3.5 years, dental school was 4 years, and completed 3 years of post graduate residencies. I also became a Board Certified Endodontist this past year, which is wonderful to achieve Diplomate status but with hard work!

Endodontics Ltd has been a trusted part of the community for many years. We are a privately owned Endodontics practice, specializing in root canal treatment. We believe in taking the time to educate our patients, answer questions, and recommend only the treatment that is truly in their best interest.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
There are plenty of opportunities in Charleston. I also love that this city has brought a population of others from all over the US, and the world. It is great to learn others’ stories and getting to know them. The traffic may be my least favorite part, but that only tells you there are a lot of people here because it is a great city to be in!
