Inspiring Conversations with Alli Griffith of Vi Creo

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alli Griffith.

Hi Alli, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I graduated from Clemson University with a marketing degree in December 2022. I did what any new graduate would do and took a decent paying job in a Fortune 500 company. I worked in tech sales for about a year and learned two things—I was really good at it but I knew it wasn’t for me. I knew in my heart I had expectations far greater than everyone else’s day to day. I quit tech sales and went back to bartending and running the restaurants social media like my college days. For the next couple of years, I went through countless job interviews, hundreds of false promises and a whole lot of rejection. A couple months ago I came to a cross road. Do I keep going on this path or do I just do it myself. Today, I work for myself and my fiancé. I am the cofounder of Vi Creo, a media production company where I specialize in social media management.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Absolutely not, I thought I’d quit my first job out of college and the next opportunity would fall into my lap the next week maybe even the month. I spent the next two years applying for hundreds of jobs leading no where. It would be between me and another candidate but I always came in second. The day finally came and I hit my breaking point. I told myself if no one will hire me then it was time for me to hire myself. Today, it’s no easy road either. We continue to work long days with tight deadlines but nothing beats working for yourself.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Vi Creo?
Vi Creo started as my fiancé, Canaan Acebal’s personal brand. An idea that through hard work and dedication creativity can transform. Through his vision it became clear that we could build something together that would be greater than anything we could ever imagine. Vi Creo is more than a marketing agency, it’s a lifestyle businesses can strive to become. As the companies Social Media Strategist, I develop and execute brand’s online presence by creating content, engaging with audiences, and using social platforms to grow awareness, build community, and drive business results. I currently work with several restaurants and businesses in the upstate of South Carolina but am currently looking to grow our platform. If you are looking for a team to bring your business to life we’re here to help!

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I believe the best qualities of a successful entrepreneur is through drive and adaptability. If you’re willing to work harder than anyone else in the room and adjust quickly to your surroundings you can accomplish anything you put your mind too.
