Today we’d like to introduce you to Alinna Leeve.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My passion for real Estate began in my late 20s after moving to NYC from Israel. Chasing the American dream as a starving artist, After working the nightlife industry , Plying music in bars, surviving, I needed a change.
My real estate career started in 2013 in NYC and Long Island City, focusing on rentals and exclusive buildings, walking in the neighborhood meeting local developers and management companies , growing my knowledge and working 7 days a week, working with a team and building connections. It was a full time dedication. Walking for appointments and open houses with holes in my shoes after long walks and NY apartment walkups, After a long hours of hard work I finally penetrated the local niche market.
I bought my first property with a business partner few years later then sold it shortly after with a profit, realizing that real estate will. always be the safest investment and no matter how the market fluctuates, there is always a way to benefit from your investment. After a decade in NY I have made my transition and moved to Sunshine state, while still working as a referral agent with NY agents closing more deals remotely .After getting my license in Florida I started working with a builder for a while became a top producer within first month on a job. I’ve learned a lot about the new construction and new developments, realizing that a corporate world is not for me, so i switched back to residential real estate for a more flexible environment and working for my self. Specializing in relocation and investment properties, i feel blessed to have helped many new comers find their new home, and help my entire family to relocate as well. Throughout my career i also started to invest in Stock market day trading and long term investments, after years of trading daily stress i have sold my stocks to invest in real estate as a safe long term investment. I bought my first Short term rental property in Palm Beach, and later another in SC, currently i’m managing both properties as my primary focus while still helping others find their new potential home or investment. I follow and learn about real estate market everyday, especially in the niche areas i personally focus on. And Im looking forward to more investments in the near future. I enjoy building my own empire while inspiring others to achieve their dreams and grow their portfolio. While still traveling in between and exploring new opportunities, everyday is a blessing, At the moment i’m building my website called www.live-on-vacation-everyday.com that has all my vacation rental information plus all the local travel guide and its a growing website that has the motto i truly believe in. And i will continue growing and creating new and exciting ways to live the life you always dreamed off, while doing what you love and have the freedom to enjoy every moment.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
(Oh boy, no it was not a smooth road,) however i may call my struggles “lack of knowledge” or experience, as i was mostly self thought, without much support or guidance, I took many risks and some almost destroyed me, but i kept going and at times lived below my needs, slept in the back of my jeep, cut most of my expenses, Got myself in a huge debt, with unexpected medical bills, and became a victim of an online crypto scam. My personal relationships were a ticking bomb and distractions of daily drama overall hold me trapped on delays and worries. I have made bad choices throughout my journey which each of them thought me a lot about myself and made me a survivor. When i was on the bottom, I fought hard to climb back up. I pushed through all the temporary outside of the comfort zone experiences. Im thankful for my small circle friends and family who believed in me, who gave me a hand when i really needed, they gave me a push forward. I never take anything for granted, and always give a hand to push someone as well, i know how hard it can get for anyone, and many never make it. or just give up.
A big challenge for me always was to have a boss , to be someone’s employee. I needed to be the boss , however before you become one you need to learn the business, so it took me time to understand it, there are no short cuts, the only way to success is through actual work.
We’ve been impressed with Live-on-vacation-everyday, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I run a vacation homes business, specializing mostly on short term rentals, seasonal rentals and investment properties. Im passionate about travel and lay back lifestyle for travelers who are looking to escape their daily routine , away from stress to enjoy relaxing and rehabilitating getaway, near water, beach, lake and nature. with local entertainment and events.
What sets me apart, I live by my motto myself and hope to inspire others to live the lifestyle they desire. What i’m most proud of is that i created my own vision for the lifestyle that I desire and focus everyday to make this vision a reality, and help others to find theirs.
I want to motivate the readers to to travel more and learn about different ways of creating a business while exploring and investing in real estate in a creative way.
I offer 2 vacation homes, A waterfront condo near the beach with a luxury amenities and a winter escape for many snow birds and warm weather lovers.
My second vacation home is located in Upstate SC offering all seasons retreat, for family or large gathering featuring private large backyard , with barbecue, kids play ground, hammocks, and lots of outdoor space for relaxing vibe and nature exploration, short drive or a walk to near by lake for fishing, boating and hiking, and country lifestyle.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
I definitely consider my self a risk taker. I have taken many throughout my life.
One of the biggest risks for me was trading large amounts of money in stocks by day trading, living on a “wheel of fortune” and after doing that for years, I’ve converted all the digital investments in to a real estate , taking a mortgage, and going all in with hopes that it all will workout As I planned.
Another risk I’ve taken was living afloat with borrowed money from friends and family with overwhelming responsibilities and bills, while still building the business and adding more debt. Unexpected extra bills and more pressure to push through.
There are few different definitions of risk 1- is just gambling and hoping for the best or just being irrational.
Another way is a calculated risk, it takes time , knowledge dedication and lots of personal sacrifices.
Ive done them all, made a lot of mistakes, but never gave up.
