in the small town of Lisakovsk in Kazakhstan. I graduated from Kostanai State University with a bachelor’s degree in English Philology. After my university graduation, I moved to Charleston, South Carolina, in 2008. I worked diligently to support myself and to help my family during this time. My primary goal was to enhance my language proficiency and embark on travel adventures.
In 2023, my husband, Andrii Dolinskyi, and I established VIP GRANITE MONUMENTS, a granite headstone company located on Sam Rittenberg Boulevard in Charleston, South Carolina. My husband and his family have been in the granite headstone production business in Ukraine for over 18 years. Before opening our company, we conducted extensive research on the demand for headstones in the United States. Andrii visited numerous cemeteries across different states to gain insights into customer preferences. I, on the other hand, studied the lowcountry market and gained a comprehensive understanding of granite monuments.
Today, VIP GRANITE MONUMENTS proudly stands as one of the leading headstone companies in the Lowcountry, renowned for its impressive display of granite headstones. Our extensive inventory of over 100 headstones enables us to complete projects efficiently, often within a few months. We have also successfully completed projects within a week. The most challenging aspect of opening and running our family business, VIP GRANITE, was finding an ideal location.
