Hidden Gems: Meet Wesley McMorris of Lifestyle Creators Academy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Wesley McMorris.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Lifestyle Creators Academy was born out of the unexpected challenges of 2020, when what began as a reluctant step into homeschooling quickly turned into something much bigger. As we navigated that season with our own family, we saw firsthand what was missing in traditional education—creativity, critical thinking, real-world skills, purpose, and preparation for life beyond the classroom.

That was the first step of our whole journey with our school. We ran an in-person school for three years. Everything about it was great!!… except the fact that my kids and I were running on burnout. We spent our entire lives at the school… cleaning, planning, yardwork, etc. And the truth was… we missed homeschooling!

Throughout the years of having our school, hundreds of people had reached out asking us to start schools in their city. Obviously, that wasn’t an option. But after praying about closing the in-person school, it made so much sense to continue the school online!!

Lifestyle Creators Academy (Online) has been such an AMAZING program!! My family gets the time we desire together. AND we still get to make such an impact on kids and families! Except now… we have expanded all over the country!

LCA is an affordable and purpose-driven program designed to teach what truly matters: entrepreneurship, financial literacy, personal development, health, and intentional living. With backgrounds in business, marketing, and coaching, we combined our passion and experience to create a learning environment that is fun, empowering, and focused on helping kids thrive in the real world.

Today, LCA exists to help raise confident, purpose-driven leaders who know who they are, understand their value, and are equipped to make a meaningful impact in the world.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not in any way has it been a smooth road. Starting a school with zero financial backing was our first challenge. It took a year of “meet & greets”, fundraisers, and networking to raise a little that helped us move into our building. Then, obviously filling a building with everything needed to create the perfect environment. One of our biggest challenges was staffing. Not that people didn’t love being there and working with the kids, but because of life situations. Sickness, death of family, etc.

Obstacles and challenges force you to stay on your toes, be able to adjust, and always make it happen!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Lifestyle Creators Academy is a purpose-driven online learning program for kids and teens that focuses on the life skills traditional education often leaves out. We specialize in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, personal development, leadership, and real-world readiness in a way that is engaging, affordable, and family-centered.

What sets us apart is that we are not just focused on academics — we are focused on helping young people discover who they are, build confidence, think creatively, and develop the skills they need to thrive in real life. We want kids to understand purpose, leadership, communication, responsibility, and how to turn their ideas into something meaningful.

We are especially known for creating opportunities that go beyond the screen, like helping students build businesses, develop their own products, and grow in confidence through hands-on experiences. Our goal is to make learning practical, empowering, and inspiring.

As a family-founded brand, we’re most proud of building something that reflects our values and truly serves other families. Lifestyle Creators Academy was created out of a real need we saw in our own journey, and it has grown into a program that helps parents feel supported while giving kids tools that can shape their future.

What we want readers to know is that LCA is about more than education — it’s about raising confident, purpose-driven leaders who know who they are and are prepared to make an impact in the world.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
One that just came to mind was when I was about 9 years old. One day, I had the idea of creating a haunted house in our apartment. I took the sheets off our bed and hung them from the ceiling to create dark rooms, made some spaghetti, put it in a bowl, and had the kids touch it, telling them it was brains. I cooked some small potatoes and told them they were eyeballs. I can’t remember all the details… but I remember I made some good money charging all the kids in our apartment complex $1 to go through my haunted house.

  • $50/month for our membership
