My journey started long before The Beau Charleston ever opened its doors. I grew up surrounded by the beauty industry. My mom moved to the U.S. from Germany and built a successful salon from the ground up. Watching her create something meaningful through hard work and heart sparked something in me early on, and I always knew I wanted to follow in her footsteps in my own way.
Even while earning my bachelor’s degree in finance, I knew I’d eventually combine my love for beauty with my passion for business ownership. After years of honing my craft as a stylist in Vermont, I decided to bring my vision to life in Charleston. A city that instantly felt like home. That’s how The Beau Charleston was born: a space that’s both elevated and welcoming, where every guest feels genuinely seen and cared for.
Today, I specialize in blonding, lash extensions, and lash lifts & tints, focusing on enhancing natural beauty in a way that feels effortless and true to each client. My philosophy has always been that beauty isn’t about changing who you are — it’s about embracing and amplifying what makes you uniquely you. That belief is the heart behind everything I do at The Beau.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been a completely smooth road, but I think that’s what makes the journey so rewarding. Starting a business from the ground up comes with so many moving parts. From finding the right location to building a client base in a new city, and handling every little detail behind the scenes, there were moments that felt overwhelming.
Even through the challenges, I always stayed focused on my vision and trusted the process. Every obstacle helped shape both me and The Beau Charleston into what it is today. Looking back, I am grateful for every part of it because it taught me resilience, trust, and confidence in my vision.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson I have learned is to trust the process and stay true to my vision. When starting a business, can be easy to second guess yourself or get caught up in comparison.
Staying grounded in who I am and why I started has been the key. When you lead with authenticity and care, the right people and opportunities naturally align.
