Today we’d like to introduce you to Keshia Colleton.
Hi Keshia, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
MMM FiT Club was established in February 2018, inspired by a vision I had in June 2017. I sought a safe, inclusive space where my children and I could work out and connect with like-minded women focused on motherhood, professional growth, and wellness. When I couldn’t find such a community, I created one.
Since becoming certified, I’ve engaged with over 1,500 individuals—primarily women, along with men and children—across local communities, the United States, and Spain. Our sessions are experiences that offer a dynamic experience, blending diverse workout styles with vibrant music genres such as African, Afro-Caribbean, R&B, and Hip-Hop. This eclectic mix fosters an energetic, welcoming environment where participants feel empowered to embrace their authentic selves.
We offer hip-hop and R&B-infused Yoga for beginners, bootcamp, cardio dance, and hiking excursions.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey has not always been smooth, and I have encountered my share of challenges. One of the most significant obstacles within the fitness industry is client and customer retention. It requires not only creating a supportive and welcoming environment for class participants and personal training clients, but also inspiring them to remain consistent in their health and wellness efforts. I recognize that I do not have all the answers, as sustained progress in fitness ultimately relies on personal accountability and discipline.
Striving to live well and love ourselves is a universal goal, yet consistency in pursuing a healthy lifestyle depends on our own commitment. Achieving this requires more than attending a couple of workouts each week—it involves prioritizing mental well-being (such as self-awareness and mindfulness practices), maintaining a nutritious diet (including plant-based and minimally processed foods), and cultivating a healthy work–life balance.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about MMM FiT Club?

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What I Like Most About Charleston
Charleston’s charm lies in its unique blend of history, culture, and natural beauty. The city offers a warm sense of community, stunning coastal landscapes, and a vibrant arts and culinary scene. Its rich heritage and architectural character create an inviting atmosphere, while the diverse local events and festivals make it easy to stay engaged and connected.
What I Like Least About Charleston
While Charleston has many strengths, there are also challenges. The rapid growth in population has contributed to increased traffic, rising housing costs, and infrastructure strain. Additionally, the region’s susceptibility to flooding and severe weather can present ongoing concerns for residents. These issues, while manageable, are important considerations for anyone living in or moving to the area.
